Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NeoClear: Device Smart Cleaner ("NeoClear", "the app", "we", "us") is developed and operated by Vira Rekovets, registered at Molokova Street, 16, Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, 20300. This policy applies to everyone who downloads or uses the app.

2. What NeoClear accesses on your device

To scan, compress and organize your media, NeoClear needs access to certain content on your iPhone, granted only through Apple's standard system permission prompts:

• Photos and Videos: read to run Smart Scan, identify duplicate and similar items, screenshots, portraits and large videos, and to compress or move files you choose to act on.
• Storage metrics: read to display used storage and space freed after a clean-up.

All scanning, comparison and compression happens locally on your device. Your photos and videos are not uploaded to our servers as part of these features.

3. Secret Space

Photos and videos you move into Secret Space are protected by a 4-digit PIN that you set. The PIN and the files it protects are stored only on your device; we do not receive, store or have any way to view your PIN or the content behind it.

4. Information we may collect

Beyond the on-device media access above, we may collect limited information to operate and improve the app:

• Usage data: general interaction data such as which features are opened and how often, used to understand app performance and fix issues.
• Device data: device model, operating system version and app version, used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Support communications: if you contact us at vira@neoclear-smart.com, we keep the email address and message content you send us in order to respond.

NeoClear does not collect the content of your photos or videos, and does not build advertising profiles from your media library.

5. How we use information

• To provide and maintain the app's core features (scanning, compression, duplicate detection, Secret Space).
• To diagnose crashes, bugs and performance issues.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To meet legal obligations where applicable.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited, non-content data with service providers who help us operate the app (such as crash-reporting or analytics infrastructure), bound by confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.

7. Data retention

Support correspondence is retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet record-keeping obligations. Usage and device data is retained in aggregate or anonymized form where possible.

8. Your choices

• You can revoke Photos access at any time in your device's Settings, which will disable NeoClear's scanning and compression features.
• You can delete files NeoClear has moved or compressed directly from your Photos app at any time.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing us.

9. Children's privacy

NeoClear is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
